The Tigers carried on where they left off last week in the 2nd leg of the League Cup Semi Final. It was back to Sporting 77 ground with a Sunday afternoon kick off which started with a battle against the driving wind and later the heavens opened which all boys valiantly played in.

Captain William Putt lead the Tigers out and the team saw much of the possession as well as having the wind in their favour. Chances started to materialise and that all important goal came on 10 minutes when Daniel Woolmer launched in a trade mark corner and this week it was Harry Blenkarn who connected perfectly and scored for the Tigers. The Tigers were on a roll and really started to show their skills. The midfield group really dominated and in particular William Putt and Daniel Woolmer kept control around the middle of the park, William increased his goal tally even further this week when he got on the end of another cross into the box and blasted the ball home on 19 minutes - fantastic work Will. Not content with this William doubled his count on 24 minutes when Jake Miall knocked the ball into the box, William outpaced the defence again and slotted home and 3 - 0 to the Tigers.

The Tigers team sheet looked awesome today, in goal was Lukas Darby who managed his area really well, especially with the strong wind playing havoc. In defence were the solid and reliable Connor Unwin, Mitchell Dean and Tommy Unwin. The strong and pacy midfielders included William Putt, Daniel Woolmer, Jake Miall and Harry Blenkarn. George Bass and Daniel Whitley shared the attacking honours up front.

After half time the Tigers battled the wind and then the rain, sleet and ice(!) came down. Sporting came at the Tigers hard and were rewarded with a consolation goal. The Tigers battled on in the deteriorating conditions and for much of the game continued to keep possession. The ref finally called time before we were all washed away.

It was a truly outstanding performance from all the Tigers this week and are now rewarded with a place in the League Cup Final. As your Managers, families and supporters we are all proud of what you have achieved and look forward to taking this performance into the Final.

Man of the Match: Daniel 'the demolition' Woolmer. Congratulations Daniel on a dominating midfield display today.

Steve, Richard and Mike.
The score was 3-1.
