The Lions were formed from the Focus Ferrers Development squad and since commencing competitive action in 2007 the squad has remained largely unaltered with 9 of the original team still playing.
Having enjoyed tremendous success at mini soccer level the Lions completed their first season of 9 a side soccer in 2010/11 in the Chelmer and Crouch league. Finishing a very creditable third place and attracting much praise for their attacking play the boys will be keen to push on in 2011/12.
On the 11th December 2011 the boys played there 100th match and with 70 wins and 400 goals scored they have developed into a formidable outfit.
With incidents and goals a plenty a visit to Compass Gardens on a Sunday morning is well worth a trip.
