The Hawks made the trip to Dunmow with the Kestrels, The Hawks played the Hornets first in a mini match 30 mins (15 mins each way) while the Kestrels played the stingrays on the other pitch.........

The Hawks were out the traps quickly with some lovely passing football seeing Charlie and David going close,it was not long before the hawks took the lead with David opening the scoring with some great link up play between Charlie Jack and Sam seeing David smash in the opener 1 0 Hawks, The boys tails were right up now and a good effort from Jack saw the keeper make a great save, but from the rebound david was first to act and slotted home the second 2 0, Dunmow were also playing some nice football but found Henry at the back in great form, The hawks had a few more chances with Sam putting some great crosses in and from a Sam cross Charlie made it three great finish 3 0, It was charlie who then got his second of the match from great play down the right from David who played it to Jack who played it to jimbo(were does he get his energy) who slid the ball to Charlie who rifled it in to make it 4 0, Halftime..................
The second half started well for the Hawks and could of increased there lead but for some fine goalkeeping from the Dunmow keeper who was outstanding, Dunmow were playing some good football and from a good move there striker who has hit a fine shot which Liam should of gathered but chose to kick straight back into the oncoming Dunmow player, who blasted it pass Liam to get a goal back 4 1 Hawks,the Hawks soon restored there four goal lead with David getting his hatrick with a great finish 5 1 Hawks , Henry went close on a couple of occasions none more so than when the ball dropped out to him on the edge of the box he hit a sweet shot with pete and myself airbourne it has missed the upright by a whisker, fulltime.........

With us now playing the Stingrays and the Kestrels now playing the Hornets we were off again,with changes being made and Liam now playing striker and Jimbo who in the first game had run himself into the ground going into goal for this half, the Hawks started slowly this game and the Stingrays had a few good chances with Jimbo making a great save from a great strike, the boys had lost there shape and did not seem to string there passes together this half, Sam David and Charlie all went close but there shots were either to high or just wide, then we got a penalty when Davids goal bound shot hit a Dunmow hand on the line, Liam being out on the pitch stepped up to take it, he took the kick well but just got under it a bit and it cannoned of the bar (he will score one day) very even half of football halftime 0 0................
With mine and petes words of wisdom ringing in the Hawks ears (GET BACK TO PASSING) simple , and Liam going back in goal and Jimbo coming out we were off again, The boys were now passing and playing some great football now with the Hawks using the wings and causing problems for the Stingrays defence, Jack was outstanding in the middle and just gets better and better , he with jimbo were bossing the middle now and the Hawks were creating some great chances but when we were thinking the ball will never go in Jimbo pops up with his first of the season great determination and finish 1 0, this was more like it and with David making some great runs down the right and Sam on the left the balls were coming in thick and fast, Jack then went on a cracking run down the left going past two players and putting in a peach of a cross with Charlie on the end to make it 2 0 Hawks, straight from the Dunmow kick off Jack decided to get in on the goals and was like a bull in a china shop, after seeing his waspy closed down on more than one occasion he just run at the dunmow players went round 3 and hit a fantastic shot into the roof of the net "what a goal" 3 0 Hawks, David was next to get his waspy out and ran down the right wing cut in and smashed in his 4th of the day great goal again 4 0 Hawks, Charlie finished it off with his 4th of the day from a Sam cross nice side foot bottom corner 5 0 fulltime..............................
The Hawks today at times played some great passing football and was a pleasure to watch,with all the boys putting there stamp on the game WELL DONE BOYS.............
