FOCUS PUT ON A SHOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a squad of 20 players two teams were formed one under the hawks, and one under the old falcons name.. Hawks squad this week Liam Bull, Henry, Ronnie, Jack, Sam, Charles, David, Liam T, Jason and Bren............

Falcons squad for the weekend Mark Goss, Alfie, Kia, Kieran, Josh, Adam, Harrison, Kian, Liam Barratt and Jimbo ........

The Hawks got focus going in the tournament with there first game being against Fennlands Hurricans, The Hawks were out the traps early and put on a good show with one goal deciding it from neat football with David opening his tournament account 1 0 Hawks.........

Next up was the falcons who also had fennlands ( two derbys to open happy days) the falcons showed great desire and were unlucky not to take the lead with a strike from Alfie going just wide, at the other end mark kept a busy fennlands at bay the game ending 0 0 ...............

Next up for the Hawks was Feering Falcons, This was a cracking match against the unknown,with Feering opening up a two goal lead, Bren pulled one back before the break, second half and feering got there two goal cushion again but within a minute Hawks had another back this time from David, end to end football with the hawks knocking o0n the door for the equaliser but just not get the goal to earn the draw game finishing 3 2 feering......................

Next up for the Falcons was also Ferring falcons first team, This was another close game with falcons players Josh and Adam having strikes on goal and again Mark in the falcons goal on top form, Falcons were defending deep and got beat near the end by a great strike to finish with feering falcons winning this one 1 0 ..............................

Next up for the Hawks was Boreham village, another cracking match with boreham taking an early lead with a good finish from there striker, Hawks went on to level with another David goal nice passing move with David smashing the ball home, the hawks had chances to get in front but the game ended with it all square 1 1 ........................................

The falcons next game was against Chelmsford city, with the falcons knowing this was going to be tough and so it proved with Chelmsford winning this one 2 0 ( sorry i missed most of this one )

Next up for the Hawks was Maldon Town, again missed the start but the hawks started brightly, with Bren and David missing the upright, Maldon then got two goals nearly identical to each other with both goals lobbed over Liams head (who would be a keeper) second half Maldon got another two making this a 4 0 win for maldon ...................

The falcons had Maldon Pumas up next, This was one to forget and tacticlly we got it seriously wrong, but take nothing away from maldon who are a great side and went on to score five goals, with both maldon teams putting us to the sword ............................

Last for the Hawks was our good friends heybridge, The last time we played them in a tournament was a 4 0 drubbing for heybridge, this time end to end football but neither team could break the deadlock, not for the want of trying and a good 0 0 ended the hawks tournament..........

The falcons last game was against Bury, With mark having a run out on the pitch and alfie having a go in goal, good game to finish with Alfie pulling of some great saves and the falcons also ended there tournment 0 0 ..................

Phew think i have got most of it covered what a day, A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE BOYS WHO TOOK PART AND TO THE PARENT'S FOR THERE SUPPORT , WELL DONE The score was None-None.
