HAWKS WIN AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!

The hawks set out for Writtle on a bright sunny morning, and were brimming with confidence after the
previous 2 results,Squad today Liam Bull, Henry,Ronnie,James,Liam Barratt,David,Bren,Kian,Sam
and Birthday Boy Captain "Jack" Sparrow.............

Writtle won the toss and got the game underway,the hawks started very slowly and Liam had an early
touch of the ball,palming a shot down and pouncing on it,it took the hawks a few minutes to wake up
today and did not start with there usuall all out attack as they have done recently,the hawks finaly took control with a trade mark David run down the right and cross with Bren getting on the end just missing the upright,with the hawks getting some great crosses in from the wings through Jack Sam David and Bren who must be said hit a peach of a ball just missing everyone,they just could not get the breakthrough,the hawks defenders had to be alert as Writtle were getting forward quickly and had some good pace up front, but with Henry James Liam and Ronnie we know have a good solid line and were equall to all the attacks, it was David on 14 minutes who broke the deadlock some more fine work from Jack in the middle going in and winning the ball giving it to Bren who passed it to David who smashed it in the bottom left hand corner 1 0 hawks,from the kick off the hawks pressed and won the ball again this time Jack having a go from distance missing the left post, the hawks had plenty of corners and possesion but could not break a stubborn Writtle side and went in at halftime 1 0 .......

After a good haltime team talk the hawks took to the field for the second half,this time the hawks kicked off and went straight on the attack with David going on a run and unleashing a great shot on goal but this time he hit the post and drooped at the feet of the Writtle defender who cleared, The hawks were pouring forward with David Kian Sam Jack and Bren all going close,Writtle had chances
of there own but the hawks defence held firm, it was just getting to the stage of thinking not another torquespeed, were the hawks had dominated and got hit with a suker punch when Sam popped up and settled the nerves with a great strike giving there keeper no chance 2 0 hawks,from this moment on my heart rate fell from 200 down to normal phew,the boys had many more chances Kian going close and the superb Bren just missing, but David seeled the win from a Bren corner dropping out and David turning and shooting to make it 3 0 hawks, the hawks had a few more chances and Writtle had one near the end but the game ended with a hawks win .................

Writtle played rearly well today and looked a different team to the one the hawks had beaten 9 0 last
month well done to David and the Writtle boys ...............

Man of the match this week went to David for a brilliant display today his running and shooting just keeps getting better,also the other one went to Jack with a fantastic work rate and trully has made the hawks team tick WELL DONE all the boys..................... The score was 3-0.
