HAWKS PUNCH ABOVE THERE WEIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Writtle minors 2  Focus hawks 0 1 st match against a very strong writtle side from the chelmsford league, Hawks more than held there own in this one but just could not finish some very good moves !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Valley green 3 Focus hawks 1....  the 2 nd game was against valley green from the dengie league,the hawks went a goal down but battled there way back to level the score at one one with Sam netting from a Bren cross,then the hawks just before half time let in another,the second half was very even but while the hawks were looking for the equaliser valley netted again with a superb strike...............


Tiptree minors 4  Focus hawks 0..... the 3 rd match brought us up against a very good tiptree side who had beaten us twice in the league, first half saw the hawks take it to tiptree and could of been a goal up at half time but went in to half time 0 0, the second half we decided to go for it and went all out attack, bad move and conceded 4 goals oops!!! but testoment to the boys as we more than match tiptree for the first half well done boys


Maldon town 0  Focus hawks 1... after two defeats in the league we played a very good maldon side and the hawks again took the game to maldon, after a number of chances from both sides the hawks took the lead with Bren swinging a corner in and hitting a defender deflecting it in the net(after a meeting Bren got the nod for the goal) well done Bren, second half we were expecting an onslaught but gave as good as we got and held on for a win (the boys faces were unreal and mine to) well done hawks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heybridge 4  focus hawks 0..... this was the old after the lord mares show one, we sent out a very attacking line up (in for a penny and all that ) but found Heybridge were two up before we knew it, two more goals followed and although the hawks had chances Heybridge were worthy winners ............


This was a very good experience for the hawks and with more tournament's in the pipe line we will only get better, the hawks have come on so well and are a very strong up and coming team, great time was had by all and a thank you to Carl for the invite cheers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The score was 2-13.
