With Harrison coming down with "man boy" flu and Dunmow only having 6 boys both teams were depleated this week.......
Dunmow kicked off and were soon spraying the ball round working the channels well and calling Aaron into some early action, Ross and Birthday boy James were being kept very busy at the back along with Jake and birthday boy 2 Micheal (twins) they were all being penned in, Dunmow were finding Aaron in superb form but just when we thought Aaron was "Gandalf from lord of the rings" they popped one past him with a great finish 1 0 Dunmow, the eagles were finding Dunmow to strong and after making some more great saves Aaron was picking the ball out the net, another fine finish from the dunmow forward, 2 0 Dunmow, Kian and Tom got us going again and now the eagles were making inroads into the dunmow defence with Micheal winning the eagles a corner,from the corner Kian went close with his shot just kissing the post, some more good work with jake winning the ball with the lose ball finding Tom who slid in Kian with the keeper to beat he smashes his shot past the dunmow keeper, 2 1 Dunmow , Ross and James are starting to get a good understanding together as the eagles defence but were finding Dunmows forward movement very good, Dunmow added a 3 before half time to go in 3 1 at the break..........
Jason gave the boys a rousing halftime team talk and the Eagles started the second half better than the first, they were pressing the ball better this half and Kian and Tom were seeing much more of the ball, Dunmow were again next to score with the Eagles not clearing a corner and Aaron had no chance 4 1 Dunmow, The Eagles never give up and Kian scored his second with a great finish showing great strenght good strike 4 2 , Dunmow restored there 3 goal advantage a couple of minutes later from a goal kick falling to there forward who is lethal in front of goal 5 2, Eagles again went up the other end and from a Tom cross James knocks it in 5 3, Dunmow were starting to tire now and the Eagles with a boy advantage were growing in confidence, from a Dunmow attack the ball falls to Ross who finds James with a pin point pass, with James bearing down on goal and just about to pull the trigger was pulled down penalty , Kian stepped up for his hatrick and very confidentley slooted the ball home 5 4 Dunmow, with seconds remaning James had the ball but did not see Kian free on the right and had a shot instead but hit the defender and went of for a throw fulltime 5 4 Dunmow .........
Todays match the Eagles showed some great fighting qualitys against a very good Dunmow side WELL DONE BOYS......
Man Of The Match this week went to Aaron for a great goalkeeping display and was awsome today WELL DONE AARON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 The score was 4-5.
