Match report

The Rangers were in fine mood to play football even if the weather was not. The game started and straight from the off the boys were getting really stuck in with some strong tackling in defence and midfield. William Rean who was playing left midfield won an excellent tackle and passed the ball to Jamie Buck on the corner of the box, who went pass the defender and smashed the ball high into the roof of the net. The rangers kept putting pressure on the Broomfield defence and eventually the ball fell to Owain Gardener who drove a hard shot towards goal and the keeper could only parry away but Owain was following up and smashed the ball into the net. Just before half time Fletcher Hammond cut in from the right side of the box and curled a delightful ball past the goal keeper to make it 3-0 at half time. The second half was a lot tighter with no more goals to come but the football was just as impressive. Well done to all 10 boys for playing football in atrocious conditions and a special well done to man of the match William who must have had 3 weatabix for breakfast as he never stopped running.

The score was 3-0.
