The Rangers undefeated start to the season finally came to an end this Sunday after letting slip a 2-0 lead to finish up loosing 3-2.
The boys got off to a great start with loads of possession and capitalised after 2 minutes with Nathan winning the ball from a goal kick and playing the ball to Ben who shot low into the back of the net. The boys continued to press the goal and the second finally came after some good football from Daniel, Josh, and Ben and finally Nathan who blasted into the roof of the net.
After the break the defence lost some concentration and conceded a well taken strike from Notley midfield. The rangers kept going forward trying to get the two goal cushion back but were undone with two very good corners allowing Notley to take a 3-2 lead into the final minutes, during this time the Rangers came very close to goal but it wasn’t to be.
Never mind boys but we must learn from this defeat and never allow our concentration to slip again.
The score was 2-3.
