Match report

The Rangers started very well against a very good Braintree Town side, who like the rangers were unbeaten so far this season and this showed as all the action was in the middle of the pitch as both midfields and defence were well on top of their game. Eventually Braintree took the lead with a good goal coming from one of their midfielders driving into the box and beating the keeper with a crisp low shot into the corner. After the break the Rangers kept on trying their hardest to play the ball forward but each time it was stopped by Braintree’s defence but then with 5 minutes to go Frazer won a good tackle in midfield and then passed the ball out wide for Jamie to run onto, who then beat two defenders and started to cut in towards the goal and as the goalkeeper came out Jamie hit a hard low shot to the far corner to make the final score 1-1 which was a fair result for both teams.

The man of the match was Nathan who played very well in midfield in the first half and made some great tackles after switching to centre back in the second half.

Well done to all 9 boys.

The score was 1-1.
