The Rangers started very brightly with some good football being played between Jamie and his supporting wingers in Daniel and Owain. Eventually Jamie dropped a shoulder and turned his man and then played a nice ball through for Owain who run into the box who placed the ball into the back of the net. Soon after Jamie beat another defender and this time set up Nathan who smashed the ball high into the roof of the net. Nathan then returned the complement after dribbling pass two defenders he passed the ball to the far post for Jamie to side foot home for 3-0. The boys continued to pile forward for more goals but got caught on the counter attack and went in at half time 3-1 up.
After the break Frazer came out of goal and took up his position on the right side of midfield and it is from here he scored the next two goals, the first one came after he won the ball from the left back and he shot hard and low into the far corner from 20 yards out and then shortly after he reacted the quickest from a goal kick and smashed the ball high into the net from the same position as the previous goal. The final goal was a classic with Kristen winning the ball in defence, he then ran down the line and looked up for support and passed to Josh who then ran forward and looked for support again and played a delightful ball forward for Fletcher to run onto and place the ball to the side of the out coming goal keeper to make the final score 6-1 to the Rangers.
The man of the match went to Jamie for leading the line very well up front on his own and playing the ball either side of him to the supporting wingers.
Well done to all 10 boys.
