The boys were really eager to get going and wasted no time in scoring some quick goals and effectively kill the game off, after just 2 minutes Jamie played the ball into the box for Ben to smash the ball home. 5 minutes later Jamie had a shot deflected in by a defender to make it 2-0, and within 2 minutes from the restart it was 3-0 after a good clearance from Frazer allowed Nathan to run on and score a cracking goal with a hard low shot. Latchingdon then scored 1 back but the boys went straight up front and scored again with Daniel smashing home from 8 yards after some good foot work from Nathan.
Nathan then went on a long run into the box and chipped the keeper to make it 5-1 to the Rangers, on the stroke of half time New Latchingdon broke through the defence again and scored to make it 5-2 at half time. After the break Nathan was the provider for 2 more goals as he set up Owain to smash home from inside the box and Fletcher who skipped round the goal keeper to make it 7-2, once again New Latchingdon came back with a 3rd but soon after the rangers were awarded a penalty and Frazer drove the ball high into the net to make it 8-3 to the Rangers and maintain the winning start to the season. The man of the match went to Frazer who stuck to his task of man marking in defence and then drove the midfield forward after switching positions in the second half. Well done to all 10 boys again for continuing to play football the right way.
