Match report

Winning Start for the Rangers
The wait was finally over and the new season began in style with the Rangers taking an early lead after Owain Gardiner ran down the wing and crossed the ball to Nathan Putt who skipped past 2 defenders and drilled the ball into the back of the net. Six minutes later Owain went down the wing and passed a perfect ball for Nathan to run on to and once again he skipped passed the defence and rounded the goalkeeper to side foot home to make it 2-0.

After the break Nathan went in goal and this allowed Frazer Wraight to play up front and he soon won a good tackle and passed to William Rean who beat 3 players on the wing and then played a good ball for Ben Allen who ran into the box and smashed the ball high into the roof of the net to make it 3-0 to the Rangers. This really spurned Gallywood on and in the last 5 minutes it was a very nervous time for the boys as Gallywood hit 2 goals to make the final score 3-2 to the Rangers.

Well done all 10 boys and especially man of the match Joseph Topping who played an outstanding positional game taking what he learnt at training into the real match.

The score was 3-2.
