This was the final game of the season so the managers decided the players would play in different positions which they chose from a lucky dip, all the boys were eager to get started and show us what they could do in there new positions. The game was very close until Ben “The Jack Russell†Allen reacted the quickest to a corner and played the ball back across the area for Daniel “Rooney†Matthews to blast home from 4 yards out.
The game remained very tight and the Rangers held on to win 1-0 and finish the season off with another victory.
The boys have come along way this season in terms of football ability, positional play, communication and character building and it has been an absolute pleasure for your mangers to train you on a Saturday morning knowing you will listen and carry out what you have learnt during the training session in to real match.
Well done Owain, Joseph, Kristen, Daniel, Fletcher, Josh, Nathan, William, Jamie, Frazer and Ben for a fantastic season, have a nice rest but keeping practicing those skills in the garden. Simon&Steve
The score was 1-0.
