Focus Ferrers Rangers 1 – 3 Baddow Spartak.
The winning run of 17 games finally came to an end this Sunday against a very good Spartak side.
The final score did not reflect the game as the Rangers had plenty of possession and had several chances spurned with a succession of corners in the second half. The first ten minutes was very even and then Spartak took the lead with a well taken goal. Rangers then upped the pressure on the Spartak goal but could not find the back of the net despite some good runs into the box from Nathan and Jamie. Eventually Ben Allen got the goal to level the tie after battling his way through several defenders. The boys really went on the attack with several good chances and corners but as they kept on going forward they were open for the counter attack and sure enough two goals were conceded late in the match to make the final score 3-1 to Baddow Spartak.
Well done to all 10 boys for battling hard throughout the match.
