Focus Ferrers Rangers
With a back log of fixtures the boys had two games to play this weekend and both away from home. The first was at Tiptree Minors on Saturday and saw the Rangers win 4 – 0 with 2 cracking goals from Owain Gardiner, 1 for Ben Allen who ran right through the defence and 1 for Fletcher Hammond who struck the ball hard and low into the goal.
The second game was on Sunday morning at Burnham Ramblers and this proved to be a tough match but the Rangers came through and won 3 – 0, with 2 goals for Jamie Buck which included a delightful lob from the edge of the box and 1 for Nathan Putt who ran through the defence gave the keeper the eyes and side footed into the bottom corner.
The game was also won due to the solid defending and the outstanding goal keeping from man of the match Kristen Tucker. A very big well done to the whole team who were absolutely frozen when they came off the pitch.
