Torquespeed Youth 0 – 7 Focus Ferrers Rangers
After long and very wet drive to Tiptree the boys arrived to the ground to see the opposition already warming up and getting ready for the kick off. This tactic worked well for Torquespeed as it took the Rangers 10 minutes to break the deadlock after some last ditch defending from Josh Colvill and goal keeper Frazer Wraight.
But it was Jamie Buck who got the goals that calmed everyone’s nerves and allowed Rangers to start playing there passing game. The last 10 minutes of the half saw Nathan Putt, Owain Gardiner and Ben Allen all contribute pin point accuracy passes for Jamie to score 4 goals. After the break Frazer was now on pitch and played in Jamie to score his 5th goal of the match. Soon after Josh Colvill muscled his way into the box and scored with power full shot into the back of the net. In the last few minutes Ben played the ball forward to Joseph Topping to run pass two defenders and shoot towards the goal and score the seventh and final goal for Focus Rangers. The man of the match award went to Ben Allen for controlling the midfield and making good passes for the strikers to score there goals.
Well done to Frazer, Owain, Josh, Fletcher, Ben, Nathan, Jamie, Kristen, William, Daniel and Joseph for playing good football in very muddy conditions.
