Focus Ferrers Rangers 14 – 1 Torquespeed youth
The fog started to clear and it wasn’t only the sun that came rushing through, there was also the goal scoring machine of Focus Rangers u7.
The boys were up from the start and playing some excellent one and two touch football and within a few minutes Nathan Putt played a diagonal pass through for his partner Jamie Buck to score the first of many goals.
Jamie quickly scored a second before completing his hat trick after reacting the quickest from a goal kick.
Owain Gardner then burst forward from defence and played in Nathan for his first of many during the game and make it 4-0. Nathan then turned provider again and from a deeply struck corner he set up Kristen Tucker to score his first goal for the club. A fiercely stuck shot from Josh Colvill was then headed in by Jamie to make it 6-0 and straight from the kick off Ben Allen won the ball and went on a winding run skipping past three defenders before scoring to make it 7-0 and half time.
After the break Jamie scored one more to make it 8-0 for rangers and five for himself. Then from that moment onwards it became the Nathan Putt experience, on the day he was made captain he scored a further 6 goals to make it a magnificent seven, which included 2 amazing runs into the box, 2 superbly struck shots from outside the area, one outstanding free kick which received compliments from all those around and just to bring him back down to earth a nice easy tap in. This performance earned Nathan the man of the match award and the biggest smile in
Well done to Joseph, Kristen, Josh, Owain, Ben, Jamie, Nathan, William, Fletcher, Daniel, Frazer.
