TIPTREE U7   3  - 3   FOCUS FERRERS LIONS U7

This was our last game of the season. After a slow start, the boys started to get into their stride and on 9 minutes Joseph made a great pass to Jack who scored to get us of to a flying start, 1 – 0 to the Lions. The game was very even until Aaron made a superb pass to Daniel who made a great run and struck a fierce shot 2  - 0 to the Lions. Teddy, Michael, Joseph and Kai were all having to make some great tackles at the back to keep the boys on top of this game. On 18 minutes Tiptree found a way through and scored making it 2 – 1 to the Lions. Right on the stoke of half time Aaron put us back on top with a great goal to make the half time score 3  - 1 to the Lions.

The second half started well for the Lions. Alfie was putting in a good shift with some great tackles and passes, but on 23 minutes Tiptree scored one of the best goals of the season with an unstoppable shot 3  - 2 to the Lions. The Lions defence were being made to work this half. Callum was clearing the ball well from the back and on 24 minutes Tommy had to make a great save to keep the lions on top. However, on 26 minutes Tiptree hit us again the score was now 3  - 3. This set the game up for a great finish and the Lions were working hard but just could not unlock a very strong Tiptree defence. The final score was 3  - 3. The well deserved man of the match was Michael who made some great clearances at the back. A big well done to all the boys as we only lost one game this season. The team today was Tommy, Kai, Michael, Alfie, Teddy, Aaron, Jack, Daniel, Joseph and Callum. Also, a big well done to the managers Adam&Andy.
