Old Chelmsfordians 1 Focus 3

With other teams at the the top of the table not playing today it was important Focus maintained there good League form with another 3 points!  Playing up the hill in the first half Focus carried on playing some nice Football that has impressed in recent weeks.  It was a bit of a shock to conceed after 15 minutes to a sloppy goal which was against the run of play.  Focus stepped up to another level and forced OC's back into a defensive mode! fine passing and moving football led to the equaliser after Harding was brought down and Ben Chesney slotted home from the spot.

1-1 at half time and a chance to run down the hill and put OC's under constant pressure! Which we did only fine goalkeeping and some near misses kept it 1-1 till the last ten minutes! Chris Littlejohn produced an amazing save to keep the scores level after a mix up at the back! After more pressure and The OC's right winger being sent off Focus got what they deserved a Second from Skipper Hine which trickled over the line to give us that boost going into the last five minutes! Then a thundebolt from Pugh made it 3-1 and the game was safe! Three more points!!! Well done, It was tough going but we battled and kept calm and yet again played some outstanding passing and moving football.

Special mention to Cawston who got 15 votes for Man of the Match, the only vote he did not get was his own!!!! Well done a trully great performance!!
