Match report

In a hotly contested and competitive game, Focus showed a much improved attitude and commitment. An early penalty calmly converted by Greg settled the nerves and a "wonder" goal by Owen from almost the half way line gave Focus a comfortable lead but just before half time Thaxted scored an impressive goal to take it to 2-1.  In the second half Focus speed was telling in attack and Liam quickly made it 3-1.  Thaxted got one back before Dan made it 4-2 from a brilliantly taken corner by Webbo.  Liam finished things off with his second to secure what was in the end a comfortable 5-2 victory. 
Man of the Match was Jack Bailey who pressured Thaxted defence and used his speed and strength to hassle them into mistakes. The score was 5-2.
