Match report

A well earned and much deserved win was the perfect way to end the season.  Focus started on the attack from the first whistle and played some lovely passing football to put Thaxted under pressure from the off.  A spectacular free kick from Webbo is surely contender for goal of the season, as is the solo effort from Liam which saw Focus take a 2-0 lead into half time.  The second half saw Thaxted get back into the game with an early goal and Focus stopped playing their game but with 10 minutes to go remembered their passing game and could have had 3 or 4 more goals coming close on several occasions.
Matt should have scored!  Dan got his head on more than the ball and had the lump to prove it and Greg put through a fantastic ball for Matt, (who should have scored!)
