Match report

In our very difficult run up to the end of the season,this was going to be the toughest challenge.Heybridge are our main competitors with each team winning once this season.Win this game and we were getting close to the title.We fired the boys up and we knew the importance of this game.All the boys playing so well and passing the ball round to good effect.We had chance upon chance ,but couldnt hit the back of the net.Jack Stoker was our stand in keeper and played very well.Then the breakthough came it was a corner,well taken again from Jack Wiseman and George Ashley powered in a superb header to make it 1-0.Half time came and went and the boys couldnt wait for the second half.1-0 is how it stayed until late in the game when James Griffiths ran through and the Heybridge boy handled .A penalty to us and James himself stepped up to slot the ball passed the keeper.2-0,an excellent result.Man of the Match went to Joe Royce for a very good defensive performance.Well done boys,one step closer. The score was 2-0.
