Match report

Our first game against Valley Green and it was always going to be tough.Valley Green have had some good results against some good teams and every player needed to be at their best.At their best they certainly were and this was one of the best displays we have given as a team all season.From Jordan in goal ,who looked confident in everything he done,Through the defense of Matthew,George P,Luke and Joe who never gave Valley green a clear cut chance all game.The midfield of Jack S,Ben,Jame G and James Graham,battled like never before and i cant remember a time when so many balls had been won by our midfield .The two upfront of Zack and George A covered so much ground and gave the Valley Green defense a very hard time.In the first half we went cruising to a very good 3-0 lead with goals from Jack Stoker,a good high lob that was pressured by George and the goal keeper not being able to hold the ball.The second was a good hard shot from Zack ,who showed his strength to beat the VG defense.Final goal before half time was an excellent run from James Graham,he beat at least two players and hit a cracking shot into the corner of the goal.the perfect goal to cap off the perfect half.In the second half we had many chances but with only one extra goal,a good run from George A,who run through the VG defense,rounded the goalkeeper and slotted the ball very well into the net,a very good goal.A wonderful team performance with also good substitute performances from Joe T,Dominic T and Jack Wiseman,who also set up the final goal.Man of the Match went to a superb performance from Matthew Hall. The score was 4-0.
