Match report

This week we visited Chelmsford Orient at Chancellor park and after fighting our way through the weeds and over grown scrubs on the pitch we settled well into our normal pattern of play.Jordan was out sick and therefore Jack Wiseman kindly stepped into goal.We changed a few positions with Jack Stoker changing to the left wing and Joe Royce moving to left back.It worked very well and we had no need to worry after our defeat in the final the previous week.Excellent movement and play from the midfield and the forwards ,especially George Ashley,James Graham,Ben Mears and Zack Fleming led to Jack Stoker scoring 4 good goals on the bounce,yes 4 goals from the Stoker.The defense were also playing well and good cover from George Payton,Luke Duchars,Matthew Hall and Joe Royce limited Chelmsford to only long range shots.Jack was excellent in goal,quick off his line and making some good solid saves.4-0 at half time is how it stayed.In the second half we discussed the need to keep our shape and pass the ball around the pitch.That is exactly what we did and further goals were created from good runs especially from James Graham down the wings.Further goals from Matthew Hall,James Griffiths,Joe Turpin,another for Jack Stoker and 2 for George Ashley led to a 10-1 victory.A very good performance .Men of the Match went to Jack Stoker for a 5 goal haul and for Jack Wiseman for his excellent performance in goal.Well done boys. The score was 10-1.
