Match report

An away game to Maldon,who we have played on two previous occasions so far this season.We started off well enough but didnt seem to have that edge that has also been missing at the start of games in the last couple of weeks.We looked nervous in certain areas and the team wasn't working well together.Although we had had plenty of chances ,we couldn't find the net and it was evident that our strikers have lost a little confidence in front of goal.It was still a suprise to see Maldon go ahead and it seems of late that we need this before we step up a gear.Not only did we step up a gear ,we stepped up about 4 .We equalized then went 2-1 up and finally 3-1 up before half time.In the second half we completely outplayed Maldon and showed what an excellent team we are .We went from 3-1 to 11-2 by the end of the game and when we play like this it is hard to see any team in the league beating us.The final goal tally was made up from Zack Fleming (1) who also kindly went in goal in the second half ,following an injury to Jordan.James Graham(1),George Ashley(1),Jack Stoker(2)James Griffiths(1)Matthew Hall(1) and Joe Turpin(4).Excellent performances from Matthew Hall,Ben Mears,Jack Stoker and James Graham.Man of the Match for a totally dominating performance upfront ,went to Joe Turpin.Well done boys The score was 11-2.
