Match report

Second leg of the semi final.First thing we noticed was the size of the pitch.The team were in for a hard game on a big pitch having also played the previous day.Rayne started well and took advantage of the slope on the pitch.The defense were excellent and George P ,Luke ,Jack S and Matthew had not played better as a unit.Jordan was solid in goal and although the forwards and midfield were playing well ,we needed to take more control in the center of the pitch.We battled well and went in at half time 0-0.In the second half we had the slope and although Rayne started well ,we had plenty of the ball and with a good move Matthew Hall converted a good header to take us 1-0 up.Rayne did score a good goal to level at 1-1 ,but an excellent shot from Ben was followed up and slotted home well by George Ashley.The game finished 2-1 and we are through to the final.It was a good battle and the pick of the players were from our defense.Matthew Hall was Superb,as was Man of the Match Luke Duchars who stopped most Rayne attacks. The score was 2-1.
