Match report

Our first league game for some time and was a chance to get points on the board by playing on a Saturday.We were up against Chelmsford Orient,a team that we had some good games with in the past.We started very well and within the first 4 minutes we had scored 2 and hit the bar twice.We were really playing some good passing football and linking well in all departments.The Defence of Matthew,Luke,George P and Jack S were solid and covering each other well.Jordan in goal was very solid and making some very good stops when needed.Ben,James G ,James Graham and Jack W were excellent in midfield and winning most of the battles.Zack and George A upfront held the line well and were creating chance after chance.The introduction of Dominic and Joe T kept the pressure on and as a performance from all players this was the most complete we have played for a long time.Excellent corners and throws from James Graham,Jack Wiseman and Zack Fleming,Good defending throughout and a new willingness to head the ball led to a superb 9-1 win.Goals came from George A,James Graham,James Griffiths(3),Matthew Hall,Joe Turpin and Zack Fleming(2).Man of the Match to James Griff and Jack Stoker for outstanding performances .Well done boys.We welcome Joe Turpin into the side with a well taken goal. The score was 9-1.
