Match report

Back to the league this week and it was important to keep our 100% record.With many good teams still to play ,we need to keep the pressure on and keep winning.Maldon Town were the vistors again and after last weeks victory,we felt that we needed to score quickly to settle down and get them rattled.From the start you could tell that we were on form and up for a very physical game.We quickly got on the score sheet with an excellent cross from James Graham and a good finish from George Ashley.To sum up a game full of action,we scored 9 very good goals ,Maldon responded with 1 and we were excellent in every area of the pitch.In defense ,Jordan was solid in goal ,Joe and George P were as good as ever and no one looks like breaking through them at the moment.Luke and Matthew were solid as well and limited Maldon to only one chance in the first half and two in the second.Jack Stoker and Ben were holding well and battling hard,with James producing some good crosses and working the wing well one side and Jack Wiseman putting some dangerous crosses and throws from the other.Zack upfront was excellent with one of his best performances without getting on the score sheet.Dominic Townrow,Daniel Howard and Cameron Gray all came on and played very well indeed.Goals flew in with 2 for Cameron,2 for James,2 for George,1 for Jack W ,1 for Jack S and 1 OG.Another very good solid performance with some very good passing football.George Ashley was Man of the Match for some excellent runs,passing and goals in the last 2 weeks.Other good performances on the day from Dom,James,George P,Cameron and Zack.Well done boys. The score was 9-1.
