Match report

This week we visited Notley ,with a late afternoon kick off.we started with our new 4,4,2 formation .A formation that has worked well over the last two weeks.The boys didn't seem as sharp as usual and although we were having plenty of possession ,the clear cut chances were few and far between.The defense were holding out the Notley attack. With a few boys under the weather we were finding it hard to produce our flowing ,passing football.James was finding plenty of pace on the right wing and was moving past the defense well ,but with a flag happy linesman ,it was hard to know if he should cross or shoot.Zack and George were causing a few problems and the midfield were backing them up well.In the end it was George who broke the deadlock with an excellent cross from James that George met well to slot into the Notley Net.Our second was a 3 touch move .A long clearance from the very solid Jordan in goal was very well headed on by George,Zack run though and coolly went  around the keeper to make it 2-0.The third goal was a good solo effort and an excellent finish from Zack.3-0 at half time and we were steady more than spectacular .The second half and again the defense of Jordan,Matthew,Joe,George P,Daniel and Luke held very strong and worked well to not concede again.The midfield of James,Jack W,Dominic,Cameron,Ben,Jack S were working hard to support both the forwards and the defense.Upfront Zack and George A worked hard to create numerous chances.The score ended 4-0 following a good finish from Zack to complete his second hatrick in two weeks.Man of the Match went to Jack Stoker for a much improved performance for the second week running. The score was 4-0.
