Match report

Firstly,what an improvement from last week !! We were away to Ockendon Rhinos who had held
us to a draw earlier in the season and with things so tight at the top of the league we were keen
to get 3 points.
The Boys started well and we were 1-0 up within a few miniutes  of the start .We continued to
push on and were soon 2-0 up. We went into half time 3-0 up and although we were doing well
we new Ockendon would come out strong in the second half after some firm words from there
manager. We were right and the next goal was scored by Ockendon. We were giving the ball
away too much from midfield again,which has been a weekness this season, but we changed
a couple of positions and were soon back into the game with a fourth goal.The game was finished
off with a penalty which Sam converted for his hatrick after Griff was brought down after a good run.
A great hatrick from right back Sam!! We may have to move him up the field !!!
The other goals were scored by Griff and Zack.
Well done boys,one more league game to win before Christmas  to remain top at the end of 2011.
A mention also to Jack Wiseman,Tyler and Joe Howard who were excellent today. The score was 5-1.
